Albrecht’s Gas Scrubber uses a wet treatment concept, where the gaseous effluent comes into contact with water, in a high-efficiency gas/liquid mixture. Water injector nozzles lead the gaseous effluent to a deceleration zone, promoting the retention of particulate materials.
Built entirely in stainless steel, it has at its base a tank for storing water in recirculation, where optionally it is possible to install a chemical dosing pump for the liquid phase and a dosing pump for odor scavengers in the gas outlet.
In addition to the abatement of particulate materials, the gas scrubber can be applied to remove contaminants with affinity in aqueous media and gaseous effluents containing volatile organic compounds, such as fumes from heat treatment furnaces, polymerization machines, thermosetting equipment and the like.
